Jennifer Garner was originally born in Houston Texas on April 17th in 1972. Her family was however raised in Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner was her father and a chemical engineering at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann was a teacher at the local school. She graduated in chemical engineering to emulate her father. Her move into New York in order to fulfill her ambitions as an actor. She was employed at a restaurant and was a part of Broadway productions. She played a minor role in the film "Felicity" (where the show was where she first came into contact with Scott Foley). Her breakthrough came with the action-thriller "Alias." Her debut lead role as a character was the highly acclaimed romance "13 Thirty-something." The film starred her as the role of a teenager caught locked in the body an older woman of 30. Garner picked Gary Winick for the role of director. The two continued working with each other on various projects until Winick died in 2011. Garner was appointed artist ambassador by Save the Children U.S.A. This role entails national literacy, nutrition, early education, and many different aspects. In 2014, Garner has been a part of the trustees' board of the organization. She has been pushing for early elementary education. Being a part of the Early Steps to School Success (EASS) team of ambassadors for the program, Garner visits families regularly to provide them with strategies to inspire their kids to achieve.
