Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actor, most well-known from 2011 on for her character of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama program Awkward. Tarlov is the youngest daughter of two and was raised in Manhattan. Tarlov began her professional career in the tenth grade when she was Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was very well received by a group of seventh graders. As she grew older and had a job, she spent her summers in Paris as a student at NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts located at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she received the Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and studied a range of different acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company also trained her and she was able to incorporate writing into her performances during classes like the LAByrinth Theater Masters Course. Molly transformed her black winter coat to a pair if dark sunglasses after arriving in Los Angeles. She was not long before she was cast in a 3 word role in iCarly that attracted the interest from her family members. Since then, she's made several TV appearances. She also created the character Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly is a pro basketball player who likes to believe she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
