Jenna Fischer's most well-known role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly popular television show The Office. She received two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on the comedy's ensemble.
Jenna was born and raised within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna watched her mom, Anne, perform in the church when she was younger, which instilled a love of performing and theater.
She's an actress trained who was back in theater following The Office. The Off-Broadway show she starred in was the production Reasons to Be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, as well as Fred Weller. After starring in Steve Martin's most recent play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she went on to perform the record-breaking Old Globe Theatre's world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast hosted by Earwolf in the month of October. The show has been an enormous success, making its Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads in its first two-years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books. The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide In it, she recounts her experience through St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actress, and the forthcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two of the Best Friends That Were There (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) This book provides an account of their most memorable relationship and their time for The Office.
