Jenna Fischer's most well-known character was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular television show The Office. In appreciation of her performance, she received the Emmy award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
Jenna was raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was impressed by her mother's church performances at the time she started her journey.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, an actress trained in theater, returned to her roots. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
In October 2019, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey started the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to been a huge success, landing in the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's also the co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends The Office. The memoir deals with their friendship and the work they did on The Office.
