Jenna Fischer's most famous role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. She received the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she lived her entire childhood at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was a child who watched her mother, Anne performing in church plays. It instilled in her a love for theatre.
Fischer is an actress with the theater background. She was a part of Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's most recent production Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy co-written by Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she went on to perform at the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office co-star and best friend in real life Angela Kinsey started an online podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform, which has gained immense popularity, settling in the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads over its first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She has written two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide where she outlines her experience in Hollywood as a working actor and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends who were There, which is a story of the greatest friendships they enjoyed and their time on The Office.
